CHURCH NEWS

MULTI-DATED CHURCH ITEMS

  • Restock the Library - Due to the fire at the New Beginning Church in Freeport, the religious library was lost.  If anyone has any religious books they can donate, call Donna at 880-6236 or 225-2232, please leave a message.  All call will be returned.

  • F.A.I.T.H. Riders Bike Night - 6pm each Monday. A ministry of Mossy Head First Baptist Church. For anyone who ride motorcycle or just loves motorcycles. You do not have to have a bike to belong.  Charles Haraway 892-3525.

  • 4th of July Parade, Church participation - Every church in Walton County is asked to participate in the parade.  There is no entry fee for the parade and prizes will be awarded to the winning entry.  This is a great way to show pride in your church and build camaraderie among your parishioners.  Some of the children’s activities are being sponsored by candidates running for political office.  Last year we had a dunking booth, slip-n-slide, watermelon slices, popcorn, face painting, ice cream, dragon jumping room, bean bag toss, snow cones, musical chairs, ID cards/fingerprinting, a petting zoo and more.  We are asking the area churches to sponsor these (or other fun events) this year.  Your church will have lots of fun putting on these activities and will be blessed with the smiles of hundreds of local children enjoying this glorious holiday.  Please give Sara Comander a call at 892-8530 or 830-1661 to let us know if your church wants to participate and what activity you will be sponsoring.
