CHRISTMAS REFLECTIONS SEASON PASSES will be on sale starting Thanksgiving:  Christmas Reflections' gate, nightly.  Cost is $3/person ages 7 and up, ages 6 and under are free. Season's Pass is $35 for up to 6 people in the vehicle. Enter off Hwy 331 South at Live Oak Ave, DeFuniak Springs. Enjoy over 5.5 million lights around the beautiful Lakeyard.

WCSO Santa Patrol- The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) invites citizens and businesses to participate in the 2011 Santa Patrol fundraiser and donation gift drive to support underprivileged children this holiday season. New toy donations will be accepted through Dec. 9 at the WCSO headquarters in DeFuniak Springs and at the Santa Rosa Beach substation. Businesses and individuals who make monetary donations are encouraged to address checks to Wal-Mart/Walton County Sheriff’s Office, and mail them to the attention of Lt. Eddie Farris of the WCSO’s Citizens Services Division at 752 Triple G Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

The South Walton Fire District (SWFD) “Angel Tree” for the Walton County area, working together with Caring and Sharing in DeFuniak Springs. Angel cards will be available Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please stop by Station 3/Headquarters, located at 911 North CR 393, Santa Rosa Beach, where there will be 300+ angels waiting to be chosen. For more information, please call 850-267-1298 for special time arrangements. Please reach into your heart and stop by to choose your own special child or family and help make the holidays happier for our area angels! Gifts may be returned to Station 3/Headquarters before Thursday, December 15, 2011, either wrapped or unwrapped, but preferably in a gift bag.

Northwest Florida Blood Center Blood Drives: If you have any questions, please call 862-4216. In order to donate blood you need to be a volunteer who is 17 years of age or older who is in general good health, weighs at least 110 pounds, and has a photo ID. There is no upper age limit. You do not need to know your blood type to donate, but once you donate you will be sent a card showing what it is. Be sure to eat a substantial meal before donating and drink plenty of fluids!
