Mrs. Cain was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She worked with the Forestry Service in North Carolina and Georgia. She also worked as a Budget Analyst for Civil Service for 40 years before retiring. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains.
Mrs. Cain was predeceased by her father, Sam Finley, her mother, Evestare Finley, and her daughter Gerri Anne Cain.
Mrs. Cain is survived by her loving husband, John Cain; three sons, Benjie Hemphill and wife Doris, Bill Cain, andMichael Cain and wife Nicole; her daughter, Sarah Cain; two grandsons, Matthew Hemphill and Logan Cain; five granddaughters, Jessica Hemphill, Gerrilyn Swanson, Michaela Cain, Hannah Cain, and Emma Cain; one great grandson, Miller Hemphill; and four sisters; Joyce Roan, Jewell Allen, Justine Phelps and Deesta Baker.
A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~ 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Homes & Crematory; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Homes & Crematory, Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Burns, Lee Phillips, Michael Cain, Benjie Hemphill, Tyler Brielmyer, and Mathew Hemphill.
Flowers are being accepted.
Burial will follow in the Gulf Cemetery in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
