A motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries after a driver hit the rider from behind and took off. According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred on Sunday night around 8:47 p.m. on Glass Drive and Rainbow Avenue. The report states 54-year-old Tina Marie Sisson was riding her motorcycle southbound on Glass Drive when she was rear-ended by a driver in a Chevy Blazer. Sisson motorcycle flipped over its side and landed on the shoulder of the road after the collision. FHP says the driver in the SUV who hit Sisson drove off and continued to travel southbound on Michigan Avenue. The report says Sisson was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Sacred Heart with serious injuries.
