Mrs. Katherine M. Habbard, age 63, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born on August 11, 1955 in Tampa, Florida to John Washington Hydle and Elsa Hatlestead Hydle.

Mrs. Habbard was a resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Mormon by faith and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints DeFuniak Springs Ward.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked for the Chautauqua Day Care as a child care provider.  She enjoyed baking and playing cards with her family.  She also enjoyed genealogy research and art work.

Mrs. Habbard was preceded in death by her father and mother; one daughter Elizabeth Martin; one brother, Tony Hydle.

Mrs. Habbard is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Habbard; one son, Robert David Habbard and wife Melinda of Daleville, Alabama; one daughter, 
Cynthia Pennington and husband Cyril of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; one brother, John Michael Hydle of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; three sisters, Delores Boyer, Barbara Hopkins, and Emma Campbell and husband Dale all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and eight grandchildren, Austin Habbard, Preston Pennington, Ryan Pennington, Emmali Martin, John Martin, Lisa Martin, Haley Habbard, and Ashton Habbard.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Sandy Jack Brown officiating.

Those serving as pallbearers will be, Austin Habbard, Bryce Crowder, Mica Crowder, Dale Campbell, Phillip Boyer, Trace Boyer, Tobby Boyer, and Matthew Campbell.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Red Bay Cemetery.
