VOLUNTEERS HAND OUT CHILDREN’S CLOTHES AND OTHER MUCH NEEDED SUPPLIES

As the Panhandle continues its recovery after Hurricane Michael, it’s the little things that mean the most. Together We Grow and the Believer’s In Christ Disaster Recovery Group handed out children’s clothing, diapers, toiletries while providing a hot meal and fellowship for those in attendance. Also available for the children were arts and crafts projects and sidewalk chalk. Organizers say that they were are glad to provide a service to the Panhandle: “People are tired, we know people are tired. People are exhausted and part of this out here is for people to come in and rest for a moment, have a happy moment with their children. Come in and have a need met,” said Megghan McDougall, Organizer and Restoration Worker. Both Together We Grow and Believer’s in Christ are committed to further meeting the needs of the those affected by Hurricane Michael and are planning other events.
